How to play

Click inside the game once so the keyboard reaches it. The arrow keys move your player and jump. X or Space shoots. In two-player matches the second player uses WASD for movement and jumping, so two people can share one keyboard without fighting over keys.

A round goes like this. Fight for position under the basket, grab the ball, then jump and shoot. Defending is just as much of the game: get between the ball carrier and the hoop, and jump to contest or block the shot. Whoever has more points when the timer ends wins.

Tips

• Do not shoot from wherever you happen to be. Closer shots go in far more often than long ones, so work toward the hoop first.
• Jump a beat after your opponent does. Jumping early on defence leaves you in the air when they step round you.
• When sharing a keyboard, agree on sides first. Arrow keys and WASD sit far enough apart that both players can reach their keys comfortably.
• If the controls seem dead, click the game frame again. The page, not the game, probably has keyboard focus.
